Extraction The oil is extracted from the leaf and flowering tops by the Steam distillation method. Chemical Composition Thymol, 4-thujanol/terpinen-4-ol, chemotypes , thymol, and linalool. Therapeutic Properties It offers excellent treatment as bronchial & lung stimulant, in coughs & colds, and due to its warming qualities is great for use in sciatica, rheumatism, arthritis, and gout.
