QUALITY POLICIES
Premium Quality at Every Step...
Innovation Centre
The quality and purity of essential oils is paramount and directly co-related to customer satisfaction. Essential oil production and quality are integrated with the physiology of the whole plant. The ability to impact health and well-being as well as therapeutic effectiveness is directly dependent on the quality and purity of the essential oil used.
We, at AG Organica, believe in the ultimate improvement of health and wellbeing. Taking this under consideration, we source the finest and pure essential oils by relying on the expertise of botanists, chemists, and wellness practitioners. Botanical materials are carefully selected for their natural concentrations of active aromatic compounds at the innovation centre of AG Organica.
We are expert in formulating innovative and latest products in skincare and cosmetics. In our Experience Center, you will find all of the most recent formulations that are currently trending in the market.

Technology
At AG Organica, we strive to provide the purest and highest quality products to the world's leading brands. To ensure this, we have used technologies and techniques such as GC/GCMS analysis as part of the QAP and testing procedure.
- Water content test, Viscosity test, Vibration test
- Micro-organism screenings for contamination detection
- Fully-automatic manufacturing systems
- Steam Distillation Machines
- Cold-press Oil Machines
- State-of-the-art technologies
- Minimal wastage
- Environment Friendly
GC/ GCMS Analysis
Gas Chromatography involves passing the vaporized essential oil through a long column. This separates individual columns of the oil, based on their chemical properties and molecular weight. As the components exit the column, they are tested to determine the composition.
- The X-Axis: Retention Time
- The Y-Axis: Concentration or Intensity Counts
- Vegetable Oil Analysis
- Residual Solvent Analysis
- Compound separations
Product Testing of Cosmetics
Cosmetics are required to be safe when consumers use them according to directions in the labeling, or in the customary or expected way.
- pH value testing & Active content
- Viscosity, Melting point & Specific gravity
- Total residue/ LOD (Loss on drying)
- Fragrance & Foam height
- Total ash, Product stability & Heavy metals test (*)
- NVASM (Non volatile alcoholic soluble matter)
- Micro testing (*) (IS 14648: 2011)
Oils & Butters Testing
Butter is saturated compound and oil is unsaturated compound. As the components exit the column, they are tested to determine the composition.
- Organoleptic properties (color, odor, taste, appearance)
- Refractive Index, Specific Gravity & Optical Rotation
- Acid/ Peroxide/ Iodine/ Saponification value
- Unsaponifiable matter & Water/ moisture test
- Purity test (GC/ GCMS)
- Heavy metals test, Micro testing & Pesticides (*)
FRAGRANCE
Fragrance ingredients in cosmetics must meet the same safety standards as other cosmetic ingredients. So to ensure these safety measures the fragrances are tested with the following methods:
- Odor
- Color Testing
- Specific Gravity
- Refractive Index
- GCMS Testing
QC EQUIPMENTS
Quality control verifies all the defined features in accordance with the standard definitions and maintains the shelf life of the product.
The quality control of cosmetics is important to ensure the efficacy and safety of products and
their raw materials. To maintain the quality and safety of products, following equipments are
used in the lab:
- GC/ GCMS
- Refractometer & Polari Meter
- Karl Fisher, Stability Chamber & Microbiological
- Biosafety Cabinet, Autoclave & Incubator/ BOD
- Microscope & Colony Counter
- Viscometer, pH Meter & Melting Point Apparatus
- Muffle Furnace, Oven & Centrifuge
MICRO TESTING
This test determines the total number of yeast and fungi present per mL or gram of the personal care or cosmetic product.
This test determines whether or not harmful bacteria are present, even in trace amounts.
- Microbial Limit
- Total Microbial Count
- Yeasts and Moulds Count
- Specific Organism Detection
- Absence of gram negative pathogens (Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans)
INSTRUMENTS FOR MICROBIAL TESTINGS
The instruments used in the microbiology lab include a bunch of different instruments required for a variety of processes carried out there.
- Vertical Autoclave
- BOD Incubator
- Bacteriological Incubator
- Bio-safety Cabinet
