Linseed oil, also known as flaxseed oil or flax oil, is a colorless to yellowish oil obtained from the dried, ripened seeds of the flax plant. This oil is obtained by the Cold-Pressed method.
It has been grown from ancient times for fiber and for its seed, which is rich in oil. Linseed is a yearly herbaceous plant and grows to a height of 30 to 120 cm.

Worked for me very well. Good oil for oiling the bat. Gave a good coating to my Kashmir Willow bat and yes improved the bat shot as well.
I appreciate that it has a thick consistency and gives lustre to wood or bronze when applied. Also good is the lack of any smell. I am absolutely satisfied with it.
