The oil is extracted from the barks of Cassia via the steam distillation method. It carries Hydroxychalcone and Cinnamaldehyde chemicals which help in stimulating blood sugar and diabetes level. The oil may differ from reddish-brown to pale yellow along with a pungent aroma.


Cassia is also known as Chinese Cassia or Chinese Cinnamon, Cinnamomum Cassia & it is widely harvested in the areas of Southern and Eastern Asia. The tree grows up to the height of 10 to 15 m.
