How to Mix Essential Oils for Hair

These days hair loss is common it can be due to pollution or improper diet. It is quite frustrating as the hair becomes thick & damaged. We provide pure essential oils wholesale quantity. Essential oils help promote hair growth by massaging. It is important to mix essential oils with carrier oils for safety.

  1. Choosing oils

Choose lavender oil for thick & bouncy hair: Lavender oil is known to promote hair growth as it thickens the strands, deepens roots, increases the number of strands & also reduces the inflammation in the scalp as it reduces the number of cells. It helps in reducing hair loss in the future. It has a soothing scent that is a good option if you want to relax.

    Choose peppermint for strong & thick hair: Peppermint oil promotes hair growth as it increases the thickness, strength & number of strands. The scent of peppermint is quite refreshing. It is the best tonic for your hair if you use it after the morning shower.

    Choose Hinoki cypress oil for antifungal & antibacterial properties: Hinoki cypress is known to promote hair growth. It has antibacterial & antifungal properties that why it is a good option for scalp infections. This oil can be mixed with lavender & peppermint oil as it boosts their effects.

    Combine rosemary, lavender, cedar & thyme for time-honored mixture: This combination is well-known to promote hair growth. These oils are more effective than using a carrier oil alone. It results in a more complex scent as it has herbal & woody character.

  1. Create a hair tonic
  2. Start with 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil or grapeseed oil: Pour the oil into the spray bottle. These oils are known as the best combination with carrier oils.

    Pour 3 tablespoon of alcohol-free witch hazel: Use the measuring spoon to get the right amount. Alcohol has a drying effect on the hair & skin that’s why you should use alcohol-free witch hazel. You can replace it with a carrier oil.

    Fill the bottle with distilled water: After you add the witch hazel or carrier oil, pour the water to fill the bottle. You can add boiled or cold water instead of distilled water.

    Add 40 drops of the essential oils: Use 40 drops if you are using only 1 type of essential oil. If you are using 4 types of oils then use 10 drops for each. Count the drops to a total of 40 drops otherwise, the solution will be too concentrated.

    Close the bottle & shake well before use: Close the bottle tight then shake it to combine all the ingredients. Every time you use to shake the bottle to make sure all ingredients are well combined.

  2. Spritz the hair tonic on your scalp once you clean your hair: It works well when your hair is wet so it is best to use after wash. Spray the tonic all over your hair. Spray a little extra on the areas where the hair is thin.

    Massage the scalp with your fingertips: Rub your fingers all over your scalp in circular motion. Massage for at least 5 to 7 minutes.

    Comb through your hair to get the tonic all over the strands as well: After massage, use a wide-toothed comb to comb your hair. This helps to distribute the excess tonic till the end of strands.

    Repeat the treatment daily & check the hair growth in 3 months: If your hair responds to this tonic you can notice the difference in 3 months but in few cases, you may witness results in 6-7 months. You can massage daily for as long as you want.
